Everything you need to know about connecting your platform to other hospitality systems through ChannelSwitch.
ChannelSwitch is a travel technology connectivity gateway enabling hospitality systems to communicate through standardized integrations. Instead of building a separate integration with every technology partner, you connect to ChannelSwitch once and reach multiple supported systems. One integration — multiple connections.
No. ChannelSwitch is not a marketplace — it is connectivity infrastructure. Our role is to help systems communicate; your commercial relationships remain yours. We simplify the technology connection — and where available, the commercial path to connectivity.
Companies building technology for the hospitality and travel industry: PMS providers, Channel Managers, CRS and distribution platforms, OTAs, wholesalers, tour operators and other travel technology companies whose systems need to exchange data with other platforms.
You integrate your platform with ChannelSwitch once, through the supported API or connectivity interface. ChannelSwitch facilitates the required data mapping and communication with the other supported systems, so additional connections can be added without rebuilding the integration architecture.
Depending on the connected systems and supported APIs, ChannelSwitch can support the exchange of hospitality distribution data such as availability, rates, inventory, reservations, reservation modifications, cancellations, restrictions, promotions, property, room and rate plan mapping, content and other supported distribution and connectivity data. Not every data type is supported by every system; specific data flows depend on the supported systems and APIs.
ChannelSwitch supports two-way data exchange where supported by the connected systems and APIs: for example, availability, rates and inventory can flow from one platform to the connected systems while reservations, modifications and cancellations flow back. Not every connection supports the same data flows.
Data exchanged through the gateway is encrypted in transit and at rest, and is processed only to deliver the connection between the systems involved. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Not always. For selected connected systems, ChannelSwitch may already have the required connectivity or commercial framework in place. This can reduce the need for technology partners to establish separate agreements with every connected system and help accelerate onboarding and time-to-market. Availability depends on the specific system, connection and applicable commercial arrangement.
